Article 1 Category

Members are classified into individual members, institutional members and corporate members.

Article 2 Membership Eligibility

Any Chinese experts, scholars, institutions or enterprises engaged in marine biotechnology-related work who share the association’s mission can apply to join the association.

Article 3 Membership Application Procedure

1. Submit the application form for membership
2. Approved by the board of directors
3. Pay the membership fee. (Individual members do not need to pay.)

Article 4 Member Rights 

1. Participate in various activities organized by the association.
2. Receive various services and resources provided by the association.
3. Offer suggestions and opinions on the association’s work
4. Have the right to vote and be elected.

Article 5 Member Obligations

1. Comply with the association’s constitution and all regulations
2. Actively participate in association activities and support the association’s work
3. Pay the membership fee on time.

Article 6 Membership Withdrawal

Members who wish to withdraw from the association should notify the association in writing and return their membership cards. If a member engages in any serious violation of this constitution, and such behavior is approved by the board of directors through a vote, the member will be expelled from the association.
